What we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

sub.global is run by [Registered company name] ([Company registration number]), Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos, Nigeria. We are the data controller for the personal data described here, under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email, phone number and password (stored hashed, never readable by us).
  • Order details: what you bought, delivery or collection details, and your order history.
  • Payment details are handled by our payment provider, Bachs. We never see or store your card number.
  • Messages you send us, by email, WhatsApp or Instagram.
  • Technical data: your IP address, browser and the pages you visit — and, only if you accept analytics cookies, how you use the site.

How we use it

  • To take your order, deliver it and handle returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
  • To send order updates by email, SMS or WhatsApp.
  • To email you about new drops and restocks — only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud (our legitimate interest).
  • To meet legal duties, such as keeping tax and accounting records.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the shop: our payment provider (Bachs), delivery partners (for your name, address and phone number), email and SMS providers, and our hosting provider. They may only use your data to provide their service to us.

We never sell your personal data.

How long we keep it

Account data for as long as you have an account. Order and payment records for as long as tax law requires (typically 7 years). Marketing preferences until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is kept in aggregate only.

Your rights

  • Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that's wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in Account → Profile.
  • Delete your account and personal data (Account → Profile → Delete account). We keep order records we're legally required to.
  • Object to marketing at any time, by unsubscribing or in Account → Profile.
  • Take your data with you (portability), and complain to the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens if you're unhappy with how we handled it.
